Ahhh– the first weekend of 2014. Doesn’t life feel all shiny and fresh and new? I hope wherever you are, you’re cozy and warm and enjoying the last bit of holiday time before we all start in earnest on Monday! I, for one, have the appearance of a long weekend– my longest training run was this morning, so it’s just relaxing, catching up on neglected to-dos, prepping for the week and YEAR ahead, and one tiny run tomorrow morning (yes, that feels like a luxury!).

Some lovely links to inspire us for the long hours ahead–>

-This is the most inspiring thing I’ve read in a long time.

-We’re all so excited about forming new habits, but how long does it really take?

-In case you REALLY need someone to keep you on those resolutions this year…

-Because we all want to stress a little less this year.

-I, for one, still love a good motivational quote poster.

-Newly engaged? Start here!

-Foodies looking to make a fresh start– some delicious meals to kick off the year with!

-These are all on my breakfast menu to-do list this year…

-The best albums of 2013

-A beautiful and inspiring love story

-One of my favorite local writers is back at it! So thrilled for her growing family and eager to read more this year.

-Brene Brown freaking rocks– and so does this little short film.

-Loving this color scheme for 2014!

-I’m not sure I can pull this look off, but it’s lovely.

-So much love.

Lady, thank you so much for being my champion and being so dear and putting together this wonderful list of things to peruse while my tall drink of water watches the Saints play. Here’s to women singing each others songs, let’s keep that up for ever and ever. xoxo
